Association Dues

Dear Holly Lake Ranch member,


With 2012 soon becoming only a memory, we are nearing the end of yet another very productive year at Holly Lake Ranch. We were able to complete several integral projects throughout the ranch including the spraying of Lake Greenbriar for harmful foliage, the construction of the new security building, the paving over 3 miles of road, the resodding of #18 and #5 holes, the landscaping of the golf course entry, the installing of a new playgound, the replacement of three pieces of exercise equipment, the installing of split rail around the main pool area and the updating of the administration building landscaping.  I am very proud of these accomplishments/purchases and they could not have been completed without the dedicated employees of Holly Lake and you.

During the past several months, we have focused our efforts on planning ahead to 2013. Many projects/purchases are being considered including repairing both Holly and Greenbriar Dams, lowering Lake Greenbriar to kill off unwanted vegetation, landscaping in front of the main pool, resurfacing the swimming pool, re-sodding on golf hole #9, fixing the drainage on #5 golf hole, purchasing of a new exercise equipment and the continuation of spraying of Lake Greenbriar for weeds.

With these projects in mind, the Board of Directors and I have come up with a dues schedule that I believe is fair and equitable and allows us to complete over $190,000 of improvement projects and $240,000 of road improvements. In order to do this; it is necessary to raise the monthly maintenance fee to $106.97 which results in a $4.11 increase. The garbage will go to $15.00 The monthly charge for homeowners will be $121.97 as opposed to the $117.36 charged last year and lot owners will only pay $106.97 in which they paid $102.86 in 2012. Each of these fees will have a 3% surcharge added if a credit card is used. These increases will even be less if you take advantage of the 5% discount available to those who wish to prepay their 2013 dues. In order to qualify for the discount, you must pay by check or cash which will save the Association the 3% Credit Card Fee. You can still pay with credit card; however, you will be responsible for the 3% surcharge. This discount applies only to the maintenance fee and must be received by January 10, 2013.


The Board of Directors approved the following fees for 2013 at the November 17, 2012 meeting:

     Cash/Check  Credit Card

Maintenance Lot fee:   $106.97             $110.18

Garbage fee (applicable for all homes): $15.00   $15.45

Total Homeowner fee:            $121.47            $125.63

 Additional Lot fee (per lot):  $53.49   $55.09


The prepaid dues annual amount would be as follows:

     5% Discount  Credit Card

 Maintenance Lot fee:            $1,219.56            $1,256.04

           Garbage fee:   $180.00  $185.40

           Total Yearly Homeowner fee:    $1,399.56          $1,441.44

          Additional Lot fee:  $609.78   $628.02
