Members, springtime is finally here! I don't know about y'all, but I sure am glad to get that cold weather behind us, although the snow at Christmas time was nice. Spring is a great time of year to get your game in shape for the summer. If I had my choice of seasons, spring would be my favorite for golfing time. It's not too hot, and it's not too old.

As most of you know, we have already started our tournament schedule. Those who are interested in playing in any of the tournaments, please check with the golf shop or our website for your upcoming tournaments. There are several in April and May.

I've recently gone out and played on the course, and it looks like the course has come through the winter nicely. I look for the course to be in great shape this year. I hope everybody likes the new beautification done out in front of the Four Seasons. I want to thank Clayton and his crew for beautifying Holly Lake Ranch. I think when it's completed, it's going to be really outstanding. I want to send a special thank you to Mike Fleming and his group on upgrading the cart barn to go along with the new landscaping in front of the Four Seasons.

If you need any help with your game, feel free to call the golf shop to get some help so you can be ready for our summer tournaments. With that said, my junior camp will be June 19th - 21st from 9:00-12:00, a total of 9 hours of teaching for $50.00. You can call the golf shop at any time to sign up... It is for all juniors.

As I said in my earlier article, my wife Lacy will be coming to Holly Lake Ranch to conduct free hearing evaluations in May. Check in the golf shop for the date and location.
