If you would like to join them, sign up at the tennis building or call Barbara Ford, 769-9148. The format is doubles and men and women play in this league.  
The Monday night group continues to play at 7pm and has 12 or more
players each Monday night. These players are new tennis players or
players that have not played competitively recently. Bonny McCray is
the co-ordinator for Monday night, 769-1848.  
If you are interested in day-time tennis leagues, using the tennis
ball machine or have other tennis questions, call Barbara or Garland Ford.
Annual memberships are $15 for indiviuals or $20 for famiily
memberships. League fees are $10. New balls are provided.

The Holly Lake Tennis Association held their sping playday and hamburger cook-out Friday May 30. The tennis players were divided into four teams and played 6 rounds of six-game pro sets.

The winning team was Ford's Fab Five. Garland Ford, George Vordenbaum, Pete Holden, Bob Balogh and JC Catalano earned 37 points.
The second place team members were Don Temple, Barbara Ford, Ray Grissom, Norm Rauner, and Bonnie Holden. Temple's Terrors earned 31 points.

Bit and Bonny McCray were host and hostess for the cook out at the lakeside pavilion.


Rob James made a special presentation to Garland Ford for 10 years of service to tennis at Holly Lake. He has been facilitator for new lights on the courts, court resurfacing and installation of a cold water fountain at the tennis building. A sign now designates "Ford's Court" on the former court #2.

Tennis Lessons available:
Holly Lake Ranch Resident Pro Tim Young is certified by USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association). Tim has a great passion for tennis which began at an early age competing and winning in school and state tournaments. He currently teaches tennis at Tyler Junior College part-time as well as here at Holly Lake Ranch. Tim offers lessons for all ages and skill levels. He presently has students from ages 6 - 72!
